you should learn how to make yourself known beyond the H K English-reading expat community which is not expanding under CY Leung’s Mainlandization program. Many of my repatriated H K folks are thinking of leaving because they don’t want their children to be brain-washed by communist indoctrination introduced soon. H K is not what it is.
Just this blog is not sufficient. You need more conventional marketing techniques to go beyond H K. Start with Asia and North America, especially the latter. If a book becomes a text-book type for Asian studies on campus, it can sell tens of thousands. Amy Tan’s books are prescribed text books on campus.
I just attended the Association of Asian Studies annual conference. Major publishers on Asian subjects have exhibition booths there. You were not there. How do you expect North American readers know about your presence?
