LINDSAY VARTY is a Hong Kong-based writer, poet and author of the local bestselling book โSunset Survivors: Meet the people keeping Hong Kongโs traditional industries aliveโ. Having grown up in the city, she is in love with its unique charm and character and has dedicated her work to celebrating Hong Kong culture. Lindsay lives in Hong Kong with her family, all of whom are avidly learning Cantonese slang!
Born and raised in Hong Kong, IRIS YIM LAU HANG has been teaching Cantonese and Mandarin as a second language for over a decade. She is passionate about teaching and promoting Cantonese. She believes that language is not just a tool for communication, but an important part of cultural heritage. She hopes that Cantonese slang can be learnt and used by more people around the world.
Also born and raised in the city, AMBER TSANG WING CHI is an illustrator and former professional rugby player for Hong Kong.
