DELIVERY
We will speed your books to you by trackable registered mail, wherever you are in the world. We offer delivery free of charge to addresses in Hong Kong, Macao and other parts of China.

For delivery to other countries, our checkout page gives you the choice of these postal methods offered by Hongkong Post:

  • e-Express (an airmail service which is usually the most cost-effective method if it is available to your destination country; it usually takes 7-14 working days to the UK or US)
  • Air Registered Mail; 10-12 working days
  • Speedpost (expensive but fast; 2-4 working days)
  • Surface Registered Mail (the cheapest but slowest method; can take as long as 9 weeks)

If you are ordering a book to be sent to someone as a gift, we can include a gift message. Just type it in the “order notes” box on the checkout page, and we’ll print it out and include it inside the package.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept payment by credit cards, Paypal, digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay and Alipay, FPS, and by cheque.

For online payment, please click the Add to Basket button for your desired book, which will add the title to your shopping cart. You can then continue browsing the website. When you are ready to checkout, just click the Shopping Cart icon on the top menu. Signing up for an account is an optional stage in the process; if you do, the system will remember your details for next time.

For payment by FPS or cheque (HKD only), please put your order through online to get an order number, choose the payment option, and then follow the details on the page you are sent to. (For cheques, please write the order number on the back and make it payable to Blacksmith Media Ltd).

DELIVERY POLICIES
We send all packages with a tracking number. This sometimes requires a signature on delivery. If you are out when the package is delivered, your local postal service will try again later, and if unsuccessful a second time, will usually leave a card for you to collect the package at the nearest post office.

If the package remains uncollected after 28 days, or if the address is incorrect or incomplete, it will be returned to us. In the case of incorrect address, we can resend but we have to charge the cost of repeat postage. To prevent this happening, please take care to provide us with the correct address when ordering. Adding a phone number when you place your order will help to ensure delivery.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
If the book we have delivered is defective or damaged in transit, please let us know straight away, and we will either replace it at no charge or issue a refund. There is no need to return a damaged book to us; a photo of the damaged item will be good enough.

Refunds will be made to the same method of payment you used in buying from the website.
